Here is a little bit About Rachel:

-I have my masters degree in both social work and public health; I had a totally different life path before restaurant life but I fell in love with the service industry and decided this was my community that I could practice social work in my own way. I am very passionate about substance abuse in the service industry, sexual and physical harassment issues, and the overall unhealthy environment that is presented as "well that's just restaurant life" when it doesn't have to be that way. I did my thesis in public health on a new framework to understand the primary factors that lead to substance abuse in the service industry.

-I worked as a "reproductive health counselor" aka abortion counselor at Planned Parenthood in Missouri when I was 21 while finish my MSW.
